Five voices, one language each character teaches in their own way

Lesson 5 · Numbers 0–10 and Croatian Sculptors 16 classes

The numbers from 0 to 10 (nula… deset), with the three tricky ones (šest, devet vs. deset, četiri) and how they're really used: phone numbers, train platforms (peron), prices, and the check at the café (Kava košta dva eura; Račun, molim). Pablo's Notebook adds colors (which are adjectives) and tens, hundreds, and thousands. The unit closes with culture: Croatia, a land of sculptors (Grgur Ninski in Split, Orlando on the Stradun, Meštrović).
