The verb biti (to be), the engine of your first sentences: its six forms (sam, si, je, smo, ste, su), saying no with ni- (nisam, nije, nisu), the two ways to ask a question (intonation or the particle li), and the demonstratives (ovo, to, ono). You put together your first full introduction: who you are, where you're from, and what you do (Ja sam student, Ja sam iz Argentine).
